Rachel H. Jensen is an associate attorney at the Law Office of Laura E. Metcalf. She was born and raised in Knoxville. She briefly lived in Chattanooga, where she graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2014, with a B.A. in Communication, and worked in advertising for two years, during which she gained invaluable negotiation experience.
Rachel returned to Knoxville in 2016 to attend the University of Tennessee College of Law, from which she graduated magna cum laude in 2019 with a concentration in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. At the College of Law, Rachel participated in the Mediation Clinic, Domestic Violence Legal Clinic, Criminal Law Externship and various pro bono services. She was recognized by the Tennessee Supreme Court as a Law Student for Justice for providing over 100 hours of pro bono service during law school. Some of the experience Rachel gained through that work includes Rule 31 civil mediation training, mediating for parties in Knox County’s General Sessions Civil Court, representing plaintiffs in Knox County’s Fourth Circuit Court for Orders of Protection, and assisting prosecutors at the Knox County District Attorney’s Office.
